Glass Packaging / Custom Development

When a Stock Mold Is Not Enough

For cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other specialty glass packaging, HTK can evaluate a custom project from a drawing, reference sample or design brief. Feasibility, tooling, testing and MOQ are confirmed after technical review.

Custom Development Scope

Turn a packaging brief into a manufacturing specification.

Form

Geometry & Capacity

New bottle or jar geometry, capacity, weight and dimensional targets.

Interface

Neck & Closure

Neck finish, closure integration and filling-process compatibility.

Appearance

Color & Finish

Glass color, visual requirement, decoration and secondary-processing review.

Delivery

Packing & Export

Export packing, documentation and shipment planning for the approved product.

Development Process

Five stages from brief to mass production.

  1. 01

Submit the product brief, drawing or reference sample.

  2. 02

Confirm application, target quantity and technical constraints.

  3. 03

Receive feasibility feedback and a tooling proposal.

  4. 04

Review samples and complete fit, filling and performance tests.

  5. 05

Freeze the commercial specification before mass production.

Project Variables

Tooling cost and timing are quoted after technical review.

Tooling complexity, mold sets, color, finish, decoration, closure development, sample rounds, testing and annual demand all affect the final plan. Mold ownership terms are confirmed in the quotation.
